Day 1 – Monday, July 27th 2020
Arrive at Gros Ventre Campground – 100 Gros Ventre Campground Rd, Kelly, WY 83011
– Camping: Group campsite at Gros Ventre Campground.
– Meals: Meals are on your own.
– Transportation: Transportation is on your own (View Transportation Options)
– God Time (after dinner): Welcome and Prayer (~10 min)
Day 2 – Tuesday
Jenny Lake Day Hike to Hidden Falls for lunch. Jenny Lake ferry option for families.
– Camping: Group campsite at Gros Ventre Campground.
– Meals: Breakfast/Lunch on your own. Group Dinner TBA.
– God Time (after dinner)*: Teaching from the Word (~10 min. Topic: Relationships) Followed by Open Mic – a time of sharing around the campfire about what God has been teaching you in regards to the topic.
* There will be a separate teaching time for children as well around the dinner hour every day.
Day 3 – Wednesday
Whitewater/Scenic Rafting. Scenic rafting option for families and any lightweights.
– Camping: Group campsite at Gros Ventre Campground.
– Meals: Breakfast/Lunch on your own. Group Dinner TBA.
– God Time (after dinner): Teaching from the Word (~10 min. Topic: Suffering) Followed by Open Mic.
– Talent Show/Open Mic: Show off your singing skills, spoken word, share a poem, tell a joke (keep it clean…no jokes about tiny piano players), etc.
Day 4 – Thursday
Free Day / Moving Day / Back Country Backpacking (Optional)
– Pack up camp in the morning. Rest of the day is a free day.
– Suggestion: Spend the day in downtown Jackson, get a shower you smelly son-of-a-gun, and make your way to Colter Bay Campground.
– Camping: Group campsite at Colter Bay Campground.
– Meals: All Meals on your own.
– God Time (after dinner): Teaching from the Word (~10 min. Topic: Calling/Ministry) Followed by Open Mic.
Day 5 – Friday
Day at Lake Jackson or String Lake / Back Country Backpacking (Optional)
– Spend the day swimming at Lake Jackson (the lodge has a heated swimming pool/playground for families) or jump of the big rock at String Lake.
– Camping: Group campsite at Colter Bay Campground.
– Meals: Breakfast/Lunch on your own. Group Dinner TBA.
– God Time (after dinner): Teaching from the Word (~10 min. Topic: Spiritual Growth) Followed by Open Mic.
– Hot Springs Trip: An LOA tradition. Jump in the car and caravan up to pole cat creek and jump on the trail for a short 0.5-1 mile hike to a natural hot springs in the middle of a grassy field.
Day 6 – Saturday
Free Day
– Camping: Group campsite at Colter Bay Campground.
– Meals: Breakfast/Lunch on your own. Group Dinner TBA.
– God Time (after dinner): A time of prayer.
– Skit Night: Find you a group early in the week and put together a skit for skit night. Can be serious, funny or a combination of both. Get those creative juices flowing!
Day 7 – Sunday, August 2nd 2020
– Travel Home: See you next year for LOA 2021!
